Lodi on the Label

My heart is happy to see this original oil on canvas, 56x32, of Mitch Williams, Chicago Cubs 89-90, called the Wild Thing for his unique style of pitching, and painted by my beloved David Carl Ristau, going to the home of a true Cub fan today.
David painted for the joy and peace it brought him. He was the truest of sports fans and loved his Chicago Cubs. I love his paintings, but the time has come.
Art is meant to be shared and admired through the ages by those who appreciate it. Sports fans are unique and I know Dave is happy with this decision to have this painting hanging in the home of another true fan of the Cubbies. 👍❤️⚾️⚾️
