𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒘 𝑩𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝑽𝒐𝒕𝒆! If Project Ocean doesn’t meet their proposed requirements (investment, jobs, etc) the tax money isn’t slated to be returned to the county. It stays within MidAmerica's “infrastructure“ portion which is solely overseen by MidAmerica. That is not transparent with taxpayers. The MidAmerica Executive team are not elected officials and are not held accountable for any funds paid by taxpayers. We will not know if MidAmerica makes proper use of funds or not without Transparency.
