This dark, abandoned store got Swiss-cheesed into a light-filled office building Shoddy roofing inspired the creation of three internal courtyards—and changed the layout completely.

Here is an excellent example of adaptive re-use in Columbus, Ohio. Restoring much of the original structure of the 120-year-old building, formerly home to City Forge & Iron Works and once owned by Andrew Plocher, the site is now home to Brackett Builders.
