Credit utilization impacts your credit score, which is very important when it comes time to apply for a mortgage. In general, you want to keep your credit utilization ratio between 10-30%. If you need to lower your credit utilization ratio and improve your credit score, start to pay down your debt or ask your creditor for a higher credit limit (but don't use it!).
