Kaya is a 1-year-old sweetheart who came to us as a stray with her four adorable kittens, who are also available for adoption: Kamryn, Karlie, Karter, and Kinsley!

Kaya is incredibly friendly and enjoys the company of other cats. She was lucky enough to spend time in a foster home while raising her kittens, where her confidence blossomed and her loving personality truly shined. She absolutely loves people and is ready to find a family of her own!

Today we celebrate the power of social media and the adoption of a long term resident!🤩

After 262 days of waiting, hoping, and dreaming of a family to call her own, Diamond has officially left the shelter!!!

Her adopter came across our most recent post we made for her, begging for a family and gushing about how she’s the perfect house hippo. Well, turns out Diamond’s new dad was looking for just that!

Diamond arrived with a heartbreaking past, but she never let it stop her from loving with her whole heart. She waited patiently for the right person to see past her rough upbringing and the challenges that created for her along the way.

Now, Diamond spends her days at home with her dad, or on the road in his truck as he makes long drives for his job! She always has him by her side and both of them wouldn’t have it any other way!

Congratulations, sweet Diamond. It’s such a bittersweet goodbye, but we can go to sleep happy knowing you’ll never have to spend another night in the shelter again!
