More importantly, hello Friday! I'm trying to show my face some more here. Every time I look for a photographer to book for our own family photos, I always want to know more about who I'm going to hire. Is that weird? Not sure.

So, fun fact of the day: I have a math degree. I love math. I play Nerdle instead of Wordle - it's a thing! Try it out!

These are my beautiful friends, Khouanchy and Josh and their children! They recently moved across the country (😭!!), but I was privileged to be able to spend one last evening with them this summer taking photos overlooking the golden hills of California.

I've been doing more family sessions than weddings lately, and I have to say I'm enjoying it! I still love the wedding day stuff, but I appreciate the family photos much more now. I spent 15 minutes this morning trying to pick out new photos for our bedroom photo wall and I came across all the one-week-old-Andy photos and kept thinking to myself HE'S SO TINY! 🥰 PSA: print your photos so you look back often on what your family has looked like in years past!
