Spend your Independence Day weekend above it all at Queen Wilhelmina State Park! Perched atop Rich Mountain, the second-highest point in Arkansas, our lodge and campground offer the perfect getaway in the heart of the Ouachita Mountains.

This weekend’s special Fourth of July activities include fun like Dutch Oven Campfire Cooking, where you can learn the art of campfire cooking with hands-on Dutch oven recipes and you will even help prepare the meal as part of the experience! Also celebrate 250 years of our nation with a special reading of the Declaration of Independence while taking in sweeping valley views as we reflect on the generations who shaped our country and look ahead to the future we’ll build together.

Whether you stay in the lodge, camp under the stars or just come for the festivities, Queen Wilhelmina State Park is the perfect place to spend the Fourth!
