At Project Zero and DCFS we don’t believe these statements are true. We believe in fighting every day for every single child on our watch and beyond. We believe with everything in us that ‘there are no unwanted children, just unfound families’ and we are fiercely passionate about finding those families.

Today, our belief and our prayers became sight when our Jackson’s long days in foster care ended and his big, bright future as a beloved son began.

Jackson’s case was complex and nuanced and complicated. He was often set aside and overlooked because of the long road it would take to get him home. BUT, his team and especially Haley Casey, never gave up hope regardless of the setbacks and disappointments. And today……Jackson is a SON!!!!! And we are officially and forever
