As we get closer and closer to rolling out our informational post on ceramic film we’d like to show you one of our most important tools.

This little baby is call a Solar Power Meter. It measures in BTU (British Thermal Units). It measures the amount of heat that comes from an object.

For example the natural sun measures at around 343.6 BTU’s.

In the shop to see what the film can reject as far as heat we use a heat lamp to imitate with film. See below at what the other company film is rating.

True high grade ceramic film should never go any where close to 100 BTU or above.

3 main jobs for ceramic film.

1. IR rejection (heat you feel) which means you literally will not feel the sun!

2. Glare reduction. (Sun and headlights won’t cause headaches and greatly improves night time driving even those with astigmatism)

3. Gives the occupants of the vehicle a HIGH DEFINITION view. (Your surroundings will be more crisp, clear, and be an easier viewing experience for your eyes)

We are in the process of stripping old film and replacing it with premium ceramic to show a huge difference in film.
