Who am I going to see this weekend in Salisbury??

I say my tapestries are not by me but of me! I don’t have a plan or an outcome in mind when I am drawn to make one of these. I use up cycle sheets that are usually queen or king sized which means my folded fabric is very thick which makes it more difficult to get complete saturation of the dyes into the fabric. So when I open up something like this the symmetry blows me away. The creation from a higher source flows through me and I become the channel for light in ways I never imagined. This one is one of the eternal portals we travel through when we leave this dimension for the next. How does it make you feel? What do you see? I would love to hear your thoughts. 💜💜💜

Someone asked me what is the most important aspect of tie dyeing and I couldn’t come up with just one! My response was symmetrical folds with various resistance and technique and placement of color choices all contributing to my flow as an artist 💜💜💜 this tapestry is a beautiful example of all those things! I hope you enjoy finding all those energetic beings as much as I do!!

I’m still blissed out from the past two days with our community. First and foremost I’m so grateful for each and everyone one of you who entered my colorful world admired my art and made it your own. Saturday was extremely successful and I’ll be dyeing all week to replenish for this Saturday. Sunday was surreal I saw people rocking my dyes all over the field my heart is so full to see the joy on their faces, well it’s why I do what I do. Thank you just aren’t big enough words to describe what my customers and this community mean to me. I found my people who see me fully and accept me for what and who I am. I am so blessed 💜💜💜
