An investigative news story is about to expose a serious problem in our courts—untrustworthy process servers falsely claiming they served lawsuits on defendants.

As an attorney who practices extensively in Justice of the Peace courts, I’ve seen this firsthand—hundreds of times over the past year. Denton County’s Justices of the Peace were among the first to recognize the problem, and I have personally worked with the courts to protect defendants’ rights by alerting judges when questionable service was suspected. Time and again, our JPs have done the right thing by stopping those cases from moving forward without proper service.

I’ve also brought this issue to the attention of Texas state representatives because protecting due process and fairness must always come first.

I’m running for Justice of the Peace to protect the rights of every citizen, demand accountability, and uphold the rule of law—every time, for everyone.

This is exactly why experience and legal knowledge matter. My opponent has no legal background and has never practiced law. When it comes to protecting your rights and ensuring proper procedure in the courtroom, experience is not optional—it’s essential.

Early voting is happening now, and Election Day is March 3.

Don’t leave the integrity of our courts to chance. Vote for experience. Vote for accountability. Vote for a court you can trust. Vote for Vince Handler.

Texas legislators agree: Vince Handler is the most qualified candidate to serve as Justice of the Peace.

Our Republican form of government depends on the separation of powers—and nowhere is that more important than in the courtroom. Texas State Senators and Representatives understand firsthand that lawmakers write the laws, and judges apply them. The best judges respect that boundary.

With 12 years of experience practicing law, Vince Handler has worked directly with the laws passed by the Texas Legislature plus case law derived from appellate court decisions. Synthesizing them, applying them, defending them, and operating within their limits.

That real-world legal experience is why Vince is the only candidate in this race trusted to faithfully serve in the judicial branch by interpreting and applying the law exactly as written.

As Justice of the Peace, Vince will:

– Apply the law consistently and predictably
– Ensure litigants are never surprised by arbitrary decisions
– Treat every case fairly, based on facts and law—not personal preference

Vince will not legislate from the bench. He will deliver sound, principled judgments grounded in the law and shaped by more than a decade of courtroom experience—protecting the rights of every citizen who enters his court.
