During the 1940s, Lititz's Hawaiian Sweetheart R***e performed live on stage and across radio airwaves all over Central Pennsylvania. Managed by Verna Kreider, the group consisted of Dolly Dimples, Chubby Keiser, Bob Harding and Carl Dissinger.
