A new technique?

Where has the summer gone? It’s the middle of July and the students will be back in school in a couple of weeks.

Unpopular opinion here: Some observations from having taught music to many students and seeing how quickly they're allowed to quit. Yes, there are many exceptions to this. Some kids try music for years and hate every minute of it. That's very rare though. Occasionally a kid loves to practice and never complains. That's also rare. The vast majority of kids love music and will still complain about practicing from time to time. Most of the kids who quit music under those circumstances become adults who regret having quit.
