Lithonia Quarry

The staff of Stoneview Elementary rarely gets a treat for themselves. So Hanson Lithonia took advantage of this virtual learning day and got the staff a spread from Chick fil A.

When Rickey Jackson started at the Ben Hill Quarry in 1980 he was only going to work here for the summer. You know back when the price of gas was $1.19 a gallon or a gallon of milk $1.12 or a loaf of bread was .50¢. Rickey worked off and on until 1984 when he decided to hang on with the company at the Fayette County Quarry until 2012 when he came to Lithonia where he worked until October 7th 2022. We all hope Rickey enjoys his new life which his wife had let me know is just as busy as there one he had with us for almost 42 years.
