🥕🌱 Exciting News for the FSES Community! 🌱🥕

We are thrilled to announce a very special event coming to our school garden! Join us for the PLG TLC Event: Healthy soil, healthy children!

We will be hosting an in-person visit with Kathy Kellogg Johnson, a 3rd-generation member of the 100-year-old, family-owned Kellogg Garden Products, alongside the Captain Planet Foundation! 🌍✨

🗓️ Event Details:
When: Friday, May 29th at 10:30 AM

Where: Factory Shoals Elementary School Garden (in the back, on the bus lane side)

🌿 What’s Happening?
Kathy and additional Kellogg family members will be collaborating directly with our amazing teachers, students, and staff. Together, they will show our school garden some serious "tender loving care" by teaching us about:

Healthy soil & organic fertilizer 🪱
Beneficial bugs 🐞
Pollinator plants 🌸

The Highlight: We will be planting a brand-new herb garden in our PLG garden beds during the event! 🎉
