Good morning everyone!!!its been a busy morning already, my son’s snack bar and fridge have been restocked, my mom and I painted 2 end tables and now it’s time for a little breakfast before physical therapy. I came across some olive oil poached eggs and I had to try it. 10/10! I topped mine with black truffle sea salt, cracked black pepper, red pepper flakes, fresh chives and a little fresh basil

I wanna take a moment to wish my amazing husband, my brothers, uncles, grandfathers, and friends a very, very happy Father’s Day. I love you all and I hope you have a wonderful day. In my house Father’s Day prep is well underway. Here is a sneak peek of one dessert today. Can’t wait to share the final spread with you all.

Nothing says Sunday morning like something made from scratch. I made some homemade cranberry scones for breakfast

My husband is from Barbados 🇧🇧 so you know when we are at family functions we eat lol. My MIL makes some of the best fried chicken. She takes the Bajan seasoning and cooks it inside the chicken legs. Well… I’m lazy today so I’m not doing that today. But I hope I make her proud with the flavors I’m bringing to you today! I cleaned my chicken legs and soaked them in vinegar and salt. I poked holes all over the chicken legs and seasoned them with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and a little bit of paprika. I also took a couple of heaping spoonfuls of Bajan Green seasoning and massage the chicken legs. I let them marinade for a little over 24 hours. Now I am using a method that’s used more in Dominican and Haitian cooking. I am going to par boil the chicken legs in just a little bit of water and the remaining marinade in the bag. Then I will fry the chicken legs. They smell good already and I just took them out the bag lol
