You know what’s crucially important? Using the RIGHT products for your skin condition in the RIGHT sequence with the RIGHT doses.

Unless you’re a licensed and trained skin professional, you aren’t expected to know the above. Even if you are—you need to have a thorough understanding of the product line you’re working with, extensive knowledge of its ingredients, and experience ebbing and flowing as you interpret the skin’s language as it responds to the products.

Getting ZO Expert certified is one of the best decisions I’ve made in my career (I’ve actually taken the courses twice!). If you’re working with ZO, I urge you to get Expert certified—you’re doing yourself and your patients a disservice if you choose not to. But here’s the thing—comparable to the difference between school and real-world practice, getting Expert certified is just the beginning. The REAL experience and understanding is obtained when you put what you have learned into practice. After 5 years working exclusively with ZO, I’ve veered quite a bit from the original protocols—while they are the basis of my understanding and knowledge, the secret sauce comes through trial and error. Don’t be afraid to push the limits—just like anything else in life, that’s usually where the magic happens 🪄

If you’re on ZO, ask your Provider if they are Expert certified and how long they have been working with ZO Skin Health products. ZO products are an investment, and in my opinion, any Provider selling you products without being readily available to you, holding your hand, and closely monitoring your results might be in it for a 💵, rather than truly having a desire to help you get the best results possible.
