• NWS offices have raised Winter Storm Watches from Lubbock all the way into East Texas, including our western & southwestern counties for Sunday.
• Barring some kind of catastrophic shift in the track of this system, I fully expect these to get brought further east by tomorrow and cover at least the southern 1/2 of East Texas for Sunday➜Sunday night.
• NWS - Shreveport's criteria for for a "Winter Storm" is 2" of snow. Right now, I think we'll easily surpass this mark in many spots - especially south of I-30. In fact, I still don't think 5" is out of the question in some spots.
