Stransky Peterson Dog Run

Dog Runs Continue to be Closed due to flooding. During this time however Parks and Rec will be doing maintenance starting tomorrow March 20th. Please read the post below for further information.

DOG RUN PARKING LOT MAINTENANCE STARTS WEDNESDAY

Maintenance work on three of Lincoln’s dog run parking lots will start Wednesday, March 20. The work is expected to be completed by April 1, and is being scheduled while the runs are closed due to flooding. Repairs include minor grading and spreading additional rock throughout the lots. The three project areas include:
• Stransky Dog Run, (Peterson Dog Run) Peterson Park, 4419 Southwood Dr.
• Mahoney Park Dog Run (Mahoney Dog Run) near 84th and Adams streets
• Roper Park East Dog Run, (Roper East Dog Run) N. 7th and Adams streets

During the closures, residents may still use Rickman's Run (Rickman's Run Holmes Lake Dog Run) on the east side of South 70th Street in Holmes Lake Park. Maintenance will begin at Rickman’s Run when the other runs reopen.
