Hello Summer! ☀️
Our school has several opportunities this summer to help get your children out of the house and stay engaged! Be sure to check out our Summer Drop-In Program featuring arts & crafts, puppet shows, challenges, library days, games, and more.
If your child(ren) plan to attend breakfast, we recommend arriving closer to 9:00 AM. Students can eat breakfast and then wait for the Drop-In staff to es**rt them from the cafeteria to the library when the program begins at 9:15 AM. Please note that there will NOT be activities available before that time.
Daily activities and programming will conclude at 11:30 AM, and students may leave independently at that time or attend the Lunch provided in the Cafeteria.
We look forward to a fun summer with everyone!

May 28th is Give to Lincoln Day — and you can donate anytime through May 28th! We are highlighting a few of the great things the PTO does each year.
📚 Teacher Funding Requests 📚
Teachers work hard, and they shouldn’t have to spend their own money on classroom items. Each year, the PTO helps fulfill teacher funding requests. A few of the requests we have covered this year include: Mother’s Day pots and seeds, train tickets for a Lincoln Children’s Zoo field trip, and a subscription to a fun educational video program used by all of 1st grade.
Your PTO dollars help us fulfill these teacher requests and support our students and staff.
During Give to Lincoln Day, your donations have an even greater impact because they are eligible for a portion of the Lincoln Community Foundation’s matching fund. https://givetolincoln.com/nonprofits/roper-elementary-pto

Calling all parents, tiny humans, neighborhood detectives, emotional support goats, and parking lot ducks… 🦆🐐
Our Lost & Found fence display is up and ready for viewing! With 900 students, we’ve collected enough sweatshirts to clothe a small village.
Please claim your child’s items before the end of school on Thursday, May 21. All remaining items will be donated to the City Mission.
