Think you might have bats living in your home?

One of the easiest signs to spot is a dark stain near a gap, crack, soffit, roofline, or corner of the structure. As bats squeeze in and out, the natural oils from their fur and skin leave behind a greasy discoloration that gets darker over time.

You may also notice bat droppings below the entry point, hear scratching or chirping sounds, or see bats flying around the same area of your home at dusk.

The good news? The sooner you identify a bat colony, the easier it is to create a plan for exclusion and prevention.

Remember, bats only need an opening about the size of a dime to get inside.

If you've noticed any of these signs around your home, schedule a professional inspection and let us help identify what's really going on.

One of the biggest clues that bats are living in a building isn't the bats themselves—it's the evidence they leave behind.

Bat droppings, staining around entry points, and activity near the roofline can all be signs that bats have found a way inside.

The challenge is that bats only need an opening about the size of a dime to gain access, and many of those entry points are hidden high above the ground where homeowners rarely look.

If you've noticed signs of bat activity around your home, don't wait until the problem gets bigger. A professional inspection can identify where they're getting in and help you develop a plan to keep them out for good.
