Paradigm Impact
The lifecycle of a business is inevitable.
Stop building a business like you are married to it.
It's not until death do you part.....or it might be if you do it wrong. The business should be a tool that serves your overall mission and purpose!
Be passionate about helping and serving the right people....but don't handcuff yourself to the business itself or you may miss bigger opportunities.
This is a different way of thinking for most people, and it's what will help you to get your head up and work more on the business instead of in it by having a healthier relationship with the business itself.
This is no different than property and real estate investing - work it for a purpose vs. being overly tied to it emotionally.
When it's the right time to sell your business, or expand it, or close it, or take it out back and shoot it......whatever it takes, you should have the mental clarity and conviction to make it happen.
If you are reading this post and the thought "yeah, but my business is different" somehow creeped into your head, then find a hard surface and smack your head on it until that thought leaves.
This is about focus and seeing things for what they are so you can drive towards your biggest goals and real potential.
