Raptours

Between 3-16 March 2024 we visited Senegal to look for raptors and other birds. We encountered a total of 309 bird species, including 31 species of raptors. Raptorial highlights included Palm-nut Vulture, critically endangered Ruppell's Vulture, Scissor-tailed Kite, Beaudouin's Snake-Eagle, and Fox and Gray Kestrels. Non-raptorial highlights included White-crested Tiger-Heron and Egyptian Plover, among many others.
