AIDE SPOTLIGHT: Baylie Krueger
Baylie is from Swink, Colorado, where she attended Swink High School. During her time there, she was a three-sport athlete, playing softball, basketball, and volleyball. After graduation, she continued her athletic career playing softball at Western Nebraska Community College before transferring to Nebraska Wesleyan University to pursue a degree in Athletic Training.
Currently, Baylie is in her senior year at Wesleyan and has already begun taking classes for the Master’s program in Athletic Training. Outside of academics, she enjoys staying active by going to the gym, taking walks, and spending time with the new friends she’s made in Lincoln. She also plays on two slow-pitch softball teams and has a love for line dancing.
Looking ahead, Baylie’s goal is to complete her Master’s degree in Athletic Training, pass the BOC, and work as an athletic trainer at either the high school or collegiate level. Her dream job would be to return to Western Nebraska Community College, where she once played softball, but this time as an athletic trainer, supporting athletes at the very place she discovered her passion for the profession.
