Do you know the warning signs of heat stroke in pets? Knowing what to look for could save your pet's life! Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the signs and help keep your furry family members safe in the summer heat.

Mouth signs:
🐾 Heavy continuous panting
🐾 Dark red or pale gums
🐾 Increased salivation or thick, sticky saliva
🐾 Vomiting

Body signs:
🐾 Diarrhea
🐾 Dizziness, weakness, collapse, or inability to walk
🐾 Increased heart rate
🐾 Muscle tremmors/shaking

💡 If you suspect your pet is suffering from heat stroke, move them indoors immediately. If it's safe and you're able to do so, take a re**al temperature before starting active cooling measures, then contact your veterinarian immediately. This information can be very helpful for your veterinary team.
