Not Too Far Distant Connects Veterans and Communities Playwright Becky Boesen shares that message from Not Too Far Distant, her play about a Nebraska veteran’s experiences in World War II.

Fall is here and Not Too Far Distant by Becky Boesen is back. Join us for this spectacular production based on the experience of Sgt. Clarence Williams - a Nebraskan soldier who helped liberate Dachau.

We had another awesome performance of FOSTER by Summer Lukasiewicz at The Village Events in Kearney last night! So happy to be working with our friends Alexandra Dillon, Maricela Novoa and Amy Sjoholm at Central Region Early Learning Connection on this event! After the performance, the wonderful JR Giron from First Five (Nebraska) led an advocacy training session for early childhood educators in
the area.

We had a wonderful opening of the staged reading performances of FOSTER by Summer Lukasiewicz last night! Thank you to everyone who joined us!

There are three more chances to see this new, impactful work:
Tonight, Friday, May 17 at 7pm
Tomorrow, Saturday, May 18 at 2pm and 7pm
Location: The Lied Commons, 12th and R Streets

We would like to introduce you to the cast of FOSTER! These talented individuals have been working for the past two weeks to deliver a powerful and heart-warming production May 16th, 17th, and 18th at the Lied Commons!

As part of our AWESTRUCK Fundraising Campaign, BLIXT will be hosting a variety show May 24th and 25th! We are looking for talented and creative individuals to showcase their work. We are open to all forms of entertainment such as singing, dancing, monologues, sketch comedy, short film, and much more!
