Congratulations, Zipporah!
Before vision therapy Zipporah was struggling with reading and catching a ball.

Zipporah: “When I started vision therapy it was hard to catch a ball, use my side vision, and see my surroundings. I had a lot of spaces in my handwriting and it was hard to read my book. It was hard to hit the ball and I would skip over sentences when I read. My favorite thing about therapy is that it helped my eyes work together as a team a lot. And I’m really grateful for that. After vision therapy I can catch a ball, see my surroundings, read a book, and hit a ball. I don’t skip over sentences when I read and my spaces in my handwriting have improved a lot.”

Zipporah’s Mom: “Before vision therapy, Zipporah struggled with reading. She would skip words or sentences. She would sometimes forget where she was reading. She also really struggled with catching a ball or hitting a ball. Reading comprehension was very hard for her as well.

After starting vision therapy, Zipporah started to be able to catch a ball and hit a ball. Her depth and side vision started to improve. She is now able to track objects without moving her head around. Zipporah’s reading and reading comprehension has tremendously improved and is no problem for her now.

Ms. Kelsey was wonderful and patient with Zipporah throughout the entire process. She is knowledgeable and explains the process well and made sure that she and I knew what to do regarding eye exercises during the week. Dr. Betka is so great at what she does! From the start to the progress checks and to the end, she walked us through the why behind what her eyes were doing and how certain eye exercises will fix it.

From the start to the finish everyone who worked with Zipporah was supportive and made it their goal to see her succeed! We are very thankful for all the staff at inSIGHT!”
