Gratefully Given

At Gratefully Given, Valentine’s Day is spent celebrating my dad. And this year he’s turning 60!

Dad, thanks for always believing in me, treasuring every hug we share, and showing me what it means to truly love. You’ve officially shared half your life with me and I can’t even begin to describe how blessed and grateful I am for you.

I can’t believe I forgot to post these! This was a really special set I did for my husband’s grandmother and friends in her memory care unit. We were able to personally deliver them over the holidays and everyone was so excited to get their own personalized cookie. I just love seeing how a little extra thought and effort can completely make someone’s day.

Today we had Christmas with my dad’s family and my aunt (who was hosting) thought it would be fun for me to bring some undecorated cookies and teach the family about being a cookier.

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!

I was great seeing how much people enjoyed it, how they really wanted to do well, and mostly fun watching them realize how difficult it actually is.
