Here's another family favorite beef snack recipe from Marcy Bate. ๐Ÿ˜‹

Homemade Beef Jerky
2 pounds of ground lean beef
2 tablespoons of Redmond Salt
1 tablespoon of black pepper
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of chili powder
2 tablespoons of liquid smoke
2 tablespoons of cold water

-Mix all the ingredients with the ground beef. Let sit in fridge for 12 hours.
-put jerky into a jerky cannon, or a jerky gun, or roll out to 1/4โ€ thick and cut into strips.
-dehydrate in dehydrator on meat setting for 4-6 hours. If you donโ€™t have a dehydrator, set oven to 175* and cook for 4-6 hours. If cooking in the oven, place meat on a rack and put a cookie sheet lined in foil under to catch drippings.
