If you feel the need to leave your pets at home, research ways to keep them calm and comfy.
If you let your pets outside, leash them!
If you walk your pets, double lead them with a slip lead, use a harness or a martingale collar. They can back outta collars real damn quick and take off.
This is one of the worst times in our country for pets. So many are lost only to never be found or found dead.
