This achievement is especially meaningful because of the story behind our company — a story rooted in grit, courage, and the unshakeable leadership of our president, Ines Rivas-Hutchins, who was born in Venezuela.

When Ines first arrived in Paducah, Kentucky, she came with a strong desire, a strong construction background, and yes — a strong accent.

“In those first days when I arrived in western Kentucky from Florida bearing my Venezuelan accent, I wasn’t sure I could make it work,” Ines recalls.
But make it work she did — and then some.

In an industry traditionally dominated by men, Ines built a thriving construction company from the ground up. Her determination and vision have propelled INTEC into national recognition, federal contracting success, and now into the ranks of the most impactful Latino-owned businesses in the country.
