During the pandemic, have you, the business owner, paid employees who were staying home and not working? If so, please be aware that the NCCI (the National Council on Compensation Insurance) has activated a new class code (0012) for that payroll. It will be important for you to use that class code during your worker's compensation audit, as the payroll in this situation will not be counted against your worker's compensation audit. If you paid employees to stay home and not work, please keep track of this information to use during your audit.

Spring and Summer are definitely "Contractor seasons". Contractors have many needs - commercial general liability, worker's compensation, commercial auto (for the truck and trailer), inland marine for their contractor's equipment and tools and even bonds.
