As we welcome this new leadership team, we want to thank Michelle Hollingshead. As Board Chair, Michelle brought steady leadership and a genuine commitment to building a more generous and equitable Bluegrass. We're grateful she's staying on as Past Chair.

We're also welcoming five new members to the board: David Brennen, Parashar Joshi, Brien Lewis, Karen McIntyre and Mary Ellis Patton.

Strong communities need strong leadership. We’re excited to have this group helping us in FY27 and shape BGCF’s work for years to come.

Save the date: Bluegrass Gives nonprofit registration opens July 6!

Bluegrass Gives returns Giving Tuesday, December 1, bringing nonprofits, donors and community partners together for our region’s biggest day of giving.

Last year, 235 nonprofits raised $3.14 million in one day through 12,476 gifts. Even better, one in four donors gave to a nonprofit for the first time!

Registration is $250 and unlocks:
• A customizable fundraising page on BGgives.org
• Access to MightyCause, our new giving platform
• Faster electronic payout for donations
• Donor data from past Bluegrass Gives/GoodGiving Challenge campaigns
• Training opportunities and campaign resources
• Publicity through BGCF email, social media and regional promotion
• Eligibility for matches and prizes on Giving Tuesday
