Creating Connections Kentucky

I have recently changed our child sharing schedule. Our daughter is almost 5. We did the 2,2,3 until recently. We are transitioning to 5,5, 2,2 and it’s been the most triggering for depression and grief I have had in years . This lead me to think about all the moms and dads kept away from there kids in prison or through treatment programs ( which I’m not affiliated with) but I can't imagine separating people from there reasons for living is anything but counter productive to healing . I am passionate about including family and supports into therapeutic modalities, having open conversations and normalizing hard things. Yes, even for therapists , even for the professionals I see who the community would never know deal with “those things “. These issues aren’t just for a certain set of people. They are universal human experiences. Some of us just have resources others aren’t fortunate enough to have .
