Potty Trained? Yes!

Crate Trained? Yes! Almond settles nicely in his crate and enjoys relaxing with a bone or Kong.

Good on a Leash? Yes!

Good with Kids? Yes! Almond met children at an adoption event and absolutely adored them. His favorite way to say hello is with kisses.

Good with Cats? Yes, with continued guidance. Almond currently lives with cats and has done well. Like many adolescent dogs, he sometimes wants to chase them out of excitement, so we’re continuing to work on disengagement and appropriate boundaries. He has never shown any intent to harm them.

Good with Other Dogs? Yes!

Play Style: Almond is playful, goofy, and full of joyful bursts of energy. He is very flexible and matches the other dog’s play style. Expect zoomies, tail chasing, silly antics, and then a happy flop onto his back for belly rubs and the most dramatic wiggles you’ve ever seen. He also enjoys entertaining himself with squeaky toys and happily chewing on bones without being destructive.

- Goofy and endlessly entertaining—his clumsy personality will make you laugh every day.
- Food motivated and eager to learn, making training enjoyable and rewarding.

What He’s Still Working On

Almond is young so he’s still learning how to navigate the world. He’s currently working on impulse control, including:

- Waiting patiently before meals.
- Waiting to be released from his crate.
- Redirecting his attention away from the cats when they move.

Because he’s so food motivated, training has been a lot of fun and he responds enthusiastically to treats—even his regular kibble!

Almond doesn’t just live in your home—he adds joy to it. He’s the kind of dog who makes you laugh with his zoomies, melts into you for affection, and reminds you every day to enjoy the little moments. He’s ready to find a family who will love him through this exciting stage of life and watch him blossom into an amazing lifelong companion.

Pedro is a sweet and silly long legged boy enjoying his second chance at life after he was pulled from a euthanasia list. If you’re looking for a companion that will snuggle and love on you all the time then you’ve come to the right guy!

Pedro’s favorite things are cuddling with his person, chewing on his favorite bone, and rolling around in the sunshine! He is eager to bond with his human and furry friends for a lifetime of love. Pedro is working on his crate, and leash training and making progress every day! While Pedro does love to spend the day as a full time couch potato he still loves a good play session where you will get to enjoy his goofy baby deer hops.
