Serve Idaho, the Governor's Commission on Service and Volunteerism, is developing our three-year strategic plan and we want to hear from you! You probably heard that Congress passed and President Biden signed the American Rescue Plan to address the effects of Covid. Included in that bill was a record $1 BILLION for AmeriCorps - the largest single appropriation the organization has ever received.

American Rescue Plan 2021 Campaign I am elated to tell you that today, March 10th, Congress approved President Biden's American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 and sent it to him for signature, including $1 billion in supplemental funds for the AmeriCorps Agency.

Serve Idaho is excited to celebrate National AmeriCorps Week, starting March 7. We are using the for current/former service members to share their stories to boost awareness and inspire prospective recruits for future service years. Create a post with pictures or record a video sharing why you served, where you served and what you enjoyed about your service. Post on your personal page using or send content to [email protected] and she will highlight you on the Serve Idaho page.
