• Know what medications they take and help them talk to their doctor about getting extra on hand
• Check their supplies of food and other medical supplies (oxygen, incontinence, dialysis, wound care). Create a back-up plan
• Stock up on non-perishable food to have on hand so they can minimize store trips
• Help them stay connected using non face-to-face forms of communication
• Ask about the health of other residents frequently and know the protocol if there is an outbreak
