I recently had the oportunity to go aboard the "Lori B" barge tug at the Port of Lewiston. My assignment was to photograph the captain and crew connecting to the barge, and then pushing it west on the Snake river. I really appreciated the seamanship and professionalism the crew displayed.

Todays Chamber Lucheon was all about tourism in the valley. Michelle Peters, the president and CEO of "Visit Lewis Clark Valley" gave a very informative presentation that, among other things highlighted the incredible impact the river cruise ship industry is having on our valley.
