This week reminded me why I love what I do.

I attended the grand opening of this beautiful new salon and watched people walk through the doors, admire the details, and celebrate a dream that became reality.

What surprised me most wasn’t the compliments about the wallpaper or design.

It was the conversations.

I reconnected with old friends and customers, met new collaborators, and heard over and over that being creative, colorful, and a little different is exactly what makes my work memorable.

As a small business owner, there are days when you wonder if anyone notices.

This week reminded me that they do.

Here’s to creating spaces with personality, taking creative risks, and staying true to your vision. 💛

One of my favorite parts of being a designer is watching someone else’s dream become reality.

A few months ago, this was simply an empty space and a vision. Today, it’s a beautiful new spray tan salon ready to welcome its first clients.

From paint colors and wallpaper to lighting, furnishings, and all the little details in between, it’s been so much fun helping bring this space to life.

Say yes to the date.

Say no when you need to.

Spend time with people who make you laugh until your cheeks hurt.

And stop waiting for the perfect time.

I’ve spent so much of the past few years focused on work, clients, deadlines, responsibilities, and building a business. Lately, I’ve been reminding myself to make room for the fun stuff too—birthday celebrations, concerts with friends, beach days, spontaneous dinners, and making memories with the people I love.

Life moves way too fast to save everything for “someday.”

Today I delivered more than 50 wallpaper samples to a client’s home.

One of the biggest challenges homeowners face isn’t finding beautiful options—it’s narrowing down the thousands that are available. That’s where I come in.

After learning how my clients live, what they love, and how they want a space to feel, I curate a collection of options that fit their home, style, and budget. These were just a few of my favorites from today’s delivery.

From playful coastal patterns to bold statement prints, wallpaper has become one of my favorite ways to add personality and tell a story within a space.

Tomorrow I turn 51.
