The kids are coming to visit this weekend. I'm serving a simple tossed salad and lasagna tonight. Saturday night I am preparing a modified chicken & beef schwarma, sourdough naan, homemade hummus and a fattoush salad.

This morning I harvested enough baby butter and red romaine lettuces to serve family sized meals.

No one will have tummy ache or 💩🧻🚽 problems eating my lettuce bc I don't spray it.

The elderberry hedge row is looking promising! We purchased these as bare roots four years ago. It will be so awesome to be able to harvest and freeze dry my own elderberries this year!
