Concerts

Well, it’s 2019, and I am still working on getting the concert series back up and running. “HAH!” you scoff, and rightfully so. It’s been a long time, and I’m not getting any younger. None of us are!

But 2020 is looking as though we might be concert-ready by then, so please be patient just a bit longer!

I am requesting prayers and good thoughts for our friend Frank. Those of you who came to or played at these concerts will remember Frank and his famous chocolate chip cookies. He is doing very poorly now and could use whatever good vibes you can send his way. Thanks.

It's almost nice enough to have concerts outside, isn't it? Update: my series is still on hiatus, but I'm actually looking at starting up again next year (seriously). I'm missing the music and the comaraderie, but right now is not a good time. So please hang in there with me a little bit longer, and keep the music in your heads, hearts, and ears!

Well, folks.

It's 2016 and I know a bunch of folks have been checking in to see if/when I will be hosting house concerts again this year.

I've been thinking about it; I really have. I know I still, amazingly, have some wonderful musicians who actually WANT to take the trek out to the farm and play and eat and pet the animals and drink the wine and eat the cheesecake and all that good stuff. But as fun as that is, I need to make sure I have an audience for these cheesecake-eating fiends - I mean friends. Plus I've got some plans for the summer involving gardening and landscaping and well-manured soil.

So. What I am thinking about is doing a few shows in September, October and November (before it snows). Make-up shows for the ones that got canceled due to weather, etc. Old favorites of mine and yours. Because I like hot cider drinks and autumnal things, and getting together in the fall is one of my favoritest things to do.

What say you all? I really want to hear from you!
