We have received information on where those that were affected by the fires can go for help and supplies. Additionally, our source has told us that if there are any elderly or incapacitated that can't get to the locations listed below, delivery is available. Please feel free to message us on this page and we will get to you asap.
These facilities are open to ALL fire victims, whether you are from Nez Perce County, Latah County, Asotin County, or the Nez Perce Reservation.
Grab a homemade meal, get some rest, take a shower, pickup supplies, or just take some time to gather your thoughts and explore resources available to you and your families.
📍Methodist Church (420 US Hwy 95) Staffed 24/7- Available to anyone displaced (due to evacuation/loss of residence), volunteer responders, staff stationed for the incident response teams, farmers assisting. -
Homemade meals w/ full kitchen
Food - snacks, drinks, non-perishables.
A place to sleep - blankets/pillows
Pet friendly (outdoor kennels), pet supplies,
Personal items (ChapStick, soap, towels, feminine products, etc.). Items can be picked up if in need (blankets, towels, snacks for children)
📍PiNeeWaus Community Center (Main St in Lapwai) - open 8a-5p Red Cross Services:
Clothing and footwear
Large Gym with - cots / blankets / pillows
Pet friendly - pet food/supplies -
Cafeteria - snacks, drinks,
Showers, toiletries and more.
(Note: The Red Cross will be moving services to the Methodist Church)

The Lenore bridge is scheduled to be closed February 26 thru April 29.
Nez Perce County is hosting another bridge meeting on Thursday, February 22 at the center from 6:00 to 7:00.
There has been a petition started to promote the REPLACEMENT of the Lenore Bridge. Petition forms can be found at the Lenore PO provided by Kim Pospychalla, for friends and neighbors to collect signatures due by February 21. They will then be presented to the county at the February 22 meeting.
Please see Kim Pospychalla’s contact information at the bottom of the petition form to turn them in to her by the 21st

Just a reminder that we have our monthly potluck and meeting tonight.
The main agenda item will be discussion regarding the Lenore Bridge temporary closure and replacement.
The bridge is scheduled to be closed February 26 thru April 29.
Nez Perce County is hosting another bridge meeting on Thursday, February 22 at the center from 6:00 to 7:00.
Kim Pospychalla will bring petitions tonight to distribute for signature before the February 22 meeting.
