Collettsville Fire Rescue is proud to recognize Chief Trevor Key for earning the prestigious Chief Fire Officer (CFO) and Chief EMS Officer (CEMSO) designations from the Commission on Professional Credentialing (CPC).

The CFO and CEMSO programs are voluntary and recognize fire and EMS leaders who demonstrate excellence across several key areas, including experience, professional development, leadership, community involvement, and technical expertise. Candidates also complete a comprehensive peer-review process and create a forward-looking professional development plan.

These designations are awarded only to those who meet high standards and show a strong, ongoing commitment to excellence in fire and emergency services.

Earning both the CFO and CEMSO designations is no small feat, Chief Key is one of only 135 professionals worldwide to hold Dual CFO & CEMSO designations. This reflects Chief Key’s dedication to continuous learning, professional growth, and his service to the Caldwell County community and beyond.
