Midwest Express Corporation is a locally owned and operated trucking company with immediate openings for full-time mechanics. We offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with a company match, and paid time off.

We are looking for someone to perform preventative maintenance and repair our fleet of trailers with occasional tractor work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Work schedule: Monday thru Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm OR Tuesday thru Saturday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm

- Repair trailers as needed in a timely and efficient manner (roof, doors, etc.)

- Inspect tires (PSI, tread depth) and or change tires.

- Check brakes and lights.

- Grease and l**e trailers.

- Perform regular trailer inspections.

Qualifications and experience:

- No tools necessary!

- Welding is not required but is a plus.

- Must be able to move and lift up to 100 pounds.

- Be able to bend, climb, and stand for the duration of shift.

- Need to be able to work alone as well with a team.

- Pay attention to details.

- At least 2 years of experience.
