Last week, participants from PCI branches around the U.S. worked on practical skills to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and keep teams productive. They also learned about ways to adapt their approach for different working styles to bring out the best in their crews.

This month, we focus on the many people that make PCI a diverse, safe, and dynamic place to work—people like Karl Andraschko, Talent Development Supervisor, who has spent 20+ years helping teammates across the country grow their careers and reach their potential.

Karl started in construction the day after high school graduation. He worked full time and earned his bachelor's degree at night, his wife helping to keep him focused on his goals. He then spent 16 years in Las Vegas training construction teams from across the U.S. and Canada, proudly working with craftspeople and leadership from hundreds of companies. Over the years, he has truly seen what makes stronger, more-successful teams in any function.

"The best teams utilize the individual strengths of each player," explained Karl. "We have an awesome team with so many talented people who genuinely care about each other and their shared success."
