This Wednesday, our children are heading into the kitchen to make something special for their dads.

Cooking class is one of their favorite days of the month, and this time, it comes with a little extra heart. They'll be baking brownies with Ms. Patty to serve at the Father's Day Lunch on Thursday.

There is nothing quite like a gift made by little hands.

This month, our children are becoming travelers.

The I Am a traveler project takes classrooms on a journey through different countries, states, ways of getting around the world, and even through time. One room is even exploring the idea of a time travel machine. Others dive into how planes, trains, automobiles, and boats connect people to places.

When children are given a big idea and the freedom to explore it, they take you somewhere unexpected. Our kids will go everywhere this month.

What a remarkable achievement! We're overjoyed to celebrate Ms. Meghan's 20 years of tireless commitment to Rise Above, a testament to her outstanding dedication.
