This was a quick mid-build shot from a special project I did a while back — test fitting the mattress before the finish went on and the doors got installed.

It’s a custom special needs bed, sized for a full mattress with 4-foot tall corner posts and removable side panels. It also breaks down for easier transport. The goal was to make something that was safe and functional but still felt like real furniture — not medical equipment.

Builds like this take a little more figuring out, but they’re some of my favorite ones to take on.
