Spring is such a joy-filled time of the year. Things are warming up, flowers are blooming, and summer is right around the corner! These chrysanthemums remind me of the seven grocery bags I filled with dandelions from my yard yesterday (they're taking over!), but oh-so-much more beautiful.

Happy Friday! I'm working on some Thank You Postcard proofs this morning from the comfort of my couch and my four year old daughter keeps leaning over my shoulder saying "Awwwww!", "Awwww!" I guess I'm not the only one who thinks these pictures are gorgeous. I've never seen a more beautiful cake smash sequence!

In love with this completely custom designed wedding announcement package. Tri-fold announcement, personalized envelopes, inserts, and thank you postcards. Everything turned out so beautifully!

A behind the scenes of when I was working on the family photo illustration from last week. I love to see other "behind the scenes" shots that show the work that goes into a design, so I thought I'd share. I think these family illustrations make such great gifts!

I've been working on a gorgeous set of wedding announcements this week (think pink watercolor with floral accents), but I took a break and designed this lovely family portrait for a good friend's birthday. I'm so happy with the way it turned out, and how well their personas are portrayed. What do you think?

Happy (late) Mother's Day! I'm grateful for all of the examples of motherhood in my life and wish the best to all the mothers (past, present, and future) out there. It's so neat to have a day set aside to celebrate those who do so much for us in our lives... especially when you get to celebrate with cookies like these! Amy at The Bakeaholic is a genius/superhero when it comes to baking and I loved collaborating with her on this project.

Sneak peek at a collaboration with The Bakeaholic for Mother's Day. You guys, the final product is amazing! These tags, printed out onto sugar paper and placed onto a cookie, acting as a tag for a floral-cookie bouquet. Which would you prefer as a gift? A real floral bouquet, or a cookie bouquet?
