People Create Unit Culture 02/15/2023

"Behavior drives behavior, which really is about leading by example," stated Lt. Col. Harry Garner and Lt. Col. Joe Doty in their article People Create Unit Culture. This article discusses the importance of building a good unit culture and how leaders can develop, build, and improve their culture. The authors note that "culture and climate are not abstract terms. They are a direct reflection and result of human behaviors." Concluding in the end that if culture and climate are to be improved, it must be "emphasized that the quality of interactions between people in an organization creates and reinforces climate and culture."

ThetaCore loves working with our military members to use ThetaCore Connect to help create a positive culture and climate where leaders can help the individuals they lead feel supported, heard, and acknowledged.

ThetaCore Connect helps leaders determine what changes to make to positively impact individuals on their team to perform at higher levels. In addition, leaders can receive reactive notifications to help them stay on top of their team members' mental, physical, and social well-being with daily snapshots of how people are doing.
