HUGE shoutout to !!

My 5th graders at Arcola Elementary School were gifted high-interest books to take home at the end of the school year so they have something AMAZING to read over summer break!! How INCREDIBLE is that?! 

These students have been working SO hard toward their 40 Book Challenge this year, and they are absolutely HUNGRY for more reading opportunities! One of my students has even read SEVENTY books this school year!!

I truly cannot express how meaningful this donation is. Giving kids access to books they are excited about helps build confidence, imagination, empathy, and a lifelong love of reading. Summer reading loss is real, and organizations like Better World Books are helping keep books in kids’ hands and joy in their hearts!!! 🥹
